SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs are pleased to announce the continuation of Pink-in-the-Rink this year. The date is set for Friday when the Prince Edward Island Rocket come to Harbour Station.
“We in the Sea Dogs organization are proud to support breast cancer research with the Pink-in-the-Rink program,” says Sea Dogs President Wayne Long. “It’s a fun event that helps raise awareness and funding for a great cause.”
This year’s post-game jersey presentation is taking on a different format, switching from a silent auction to a raffle. Tickets for the raffle are available now in the Sea Dogs office and are $5.00 each, 3-for-$10 or 10-for-$20. They are available in the Sea Dogs office, by calling 657-DOGS (3647) or via email: email@example.com.
“We believe the switch to a raffle will allow a greater number of participants, a more even competition for all fans and hopefully, will generate additional funding for breast cancer research,” says Long.
The jersey winners will be announced at the end of the game. Jerseys will be given out in numerical order according to the roster.
The Sea Dogs welcome the Rocket for their game at 7:30 PM Friday night. Fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing pink as well. Tickets for Friday’s game are available at the Harbour Station box office, by calling 657-1234 or by visiting tickets.harbourstation.ca.
