SAINT JOHN SEA DOGS FOUNDATION
The mission of the Sea Dogs Foundation is to provide financial and/or in kind support to recognized non profit organizations in South West New Brunswick that focus on improving the quality of life for youth in the areas of education, sport, fitness, and health.
The Foundation is also committed to help our former Sea Dogs players continue their post secondary education through our bursary program.
The Sea Dogs Foundation recognizes the importance of fundraising for local non-profit groups, schools, and sports teams. We are committed to assisting local groups in their fundraising efforts.
Please fax your request, on letterhead, to (506) 696-0611, or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org Attention: Donations. Requests must be received at least one month before the event. You will be contacted if you have an item available for pick up.
** Please note: It is our policy that we do not give out jerseys for fundraisers, but if you would like to purchase a jersey for your fundraiser, we would be happy to have it autographed for your event.
The Foundation began disbursing funds within the community in 2007 and continues to do so each year.
All requests must meet the following criteria in order to be given consideration by the Sea Dogs Foundation Board of Directors:
• Must be a non-profit organization in South West New Brunswick
Grant applications will be reviewed and distributed twice annually, once in April and once in October. Application deadlines for these reviews will be one month prior to the review – on March 1 and September 1 of each year.
All season long the Sea Dogs Foundation has partnered with the Shriners to administer the 50/50 draw. The Shriners have become a fixture at Sea Dogs games the Sea Dogs Foundation would like to thank the Shriners for their dedication.
Sea Dogs Commemorative Sculptures
David Bernett's Canadian Inuit and wildlife sculptures grace the private and corporate collections the world over. The Sea Dogs Foundation has recently commissioned Mr. Bernett to create a
12" X 12" granite Sea Dogs Logo sculpture to commemorate the club's recent back-to-back President Cup and Memorial Cup championship achievements. A limited supply of these is available immediately for purchase for $125.00 through the Sea Dogs Foundation. Each sculpture comes with an engraved acrylic stand. These make a great gift for that special Sea Dogs fan!
All funds raised from this project go towards in kind support to recognized non profit organizations in South West New Brunswick that focus on improving the quality of life for youth in the areas of education, sport, fitness, and health.
Orders can be made by contacting the Sea Dogs office at (506) 657-DOGS (3647) or by email at email@example.com.
